I have been thinking about weather.
We delayed our departure by a couple of days because the weather systems in California have been influencing the weather all along the Rocky Mountains and into Utah.
Thankfully we didn’t run into anything really bad on the drive, just a bit of blowing snow in southern Idaho.
St. George has been cooler than I anticipated when we brought the trailer down last fall. And, it has rained quite a bit over the past couple of days which is unusual for the desert. However, it will help make the desert bloom in the coming months, so it isn’t all bad.
Over the next few days, we will start to get outside and begin cycling and hiking; we will just need to dress warmer than I had anticipated.
And so it begins, no matter what happens with the weather.
I’m glad to read that you are reunited with the trailer and ready to go. You know what they say… there’s no such thing as bad weather, just unsuitable clothing!
Agreed Amanda. Thankfully we have suitable clothing and a credit card if we don’t.
